Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is about 20 miles long and has a depth of between 800 and 1200 feet. At points it is almost 4000 feet wide.

The name of the park, Yellowstone, comes from the appearance of a lot of the rock formations found along the canyon walls.
