The Utilities

These are not utilities we have created but are either Freebees or inexpensive Commercial Products available from Peter Jackson. We strongly recommend using these and will work with you to get you set up with the Freebees and the licenses for the commercial products.

The Utilities part of the Suite includes:

· Add HTML to INDEX.HTML Files

· Fix Eolas

· Multiple Book Exporter

· Graphics (ToolBook) Preloader

Add HTML

This is a Freebee from Peter Jackson and is used to remove the Image ToolBar from the Browser window where your final HTML product is viewed. A small text file contains code that we can add automatically to all pages. This works as a Developer’s Exchange Tool.

Fix Eolas

This is also a Developer’s Exchange Tool and can be used to get rid of the Click to Activate message that you might be seeing in the HTML Product.

Multiple Book Exporter

The Multiple Book Exporter is a great utility from Peter Jackson that allows a multiple selection of files to be batch exported, saving many hours of time having to export files one at a time.

Graphics Preloader

This is a very useful utility, an inexpensive commercial product also from Peter Jackson, that adds a routine to the exported product that preloads any graphics in the lesson.  This allows for very smooth loading of each page and smooth transitions between pages. It also can be used to preload the pages.
