Types of Lessons

There are several different types of lessons that can be written using the Storyboard tool:

  • Content Only
  • Quiz
  • Simulation with Show Me Optional
  • Any Combination

Note: The Simulation Model that we have adopted is one where the Simulation runs in Practice Mode and a Show Me button on each Simulation page triggers Demonstration Mode.

 

Content Only

The Content lesson can be used for basic instruction such as Introductory topics. It is the less interactive that the Simulation lesson. The graphic below shows the page types available for a Content lesson.

Quiz

The Quiz lesson can be used as an Assessment at the end of the course if desired. It includes Multiple Choice, True/False, and Fill in the Blank question types and each question can include a graphic for needed.

Simulation with Show Me Optional

The Simulation with Show Me Optional lesson provides Practice with a Demonstration Mode (Show Me) optional.  Each lesson of this type will contain a Title and Sim Summary Page as standard page types. Most lessons will also have the Task Outline page type.  The remaining page types are inserted as needed to build the lesson.
