Paint Shop Pro 6
Paint Shop Pro is a great graphics program from Jasc Software.
The latest version is Paint Shop Pro 7 which you can download a trial
version for from http://www.jasc.com/products/psp/.
The link below provides some basic lessons on how to use Paint Shop
Pro 6. These lessons should apply to Paint Shop Pro 7 with some
slight modifications.

Animation Shop
When you install Paint Shop Pro, you also get a great little program called
Animation Shop which can be used to create animated GIFS.

program for recording and editing audio. You can download a trial
