Beach View of Damage from Hurricane Fran

Point Emerald Villas on Emerald Isle, NC took another harsh beating from a hurricane. This time it was Fran. Most of the buildings held up well, but there was a lot of damage to the dunes. Much debris to be cleaned up.

The final photo here shows what "used" to be called the Point. There were at one time 5-6 ft dunes here almost to where you see the water line in this photo.
