"TCC Publishing" Movie This is the Flash movie you will find at the top of my Home Page. It contains a short animation and a couple of sound effects. A button is used to play or replay the animation. The background is imported as a bitmap. A gradient fill has been applied to the title text (after it is broken apart).

Animated Menu (Buttons) This movie contains four buttons that show the illustrate the four Button States: Up, Over, Down, and Hit. Notice how the button changes when the mouse pointer is "over" the button as well as the change when the left mouse button is clicked (down) over the button. A sound effect is added to the Down state.

Motion Tweening (Flying Bird) This movie illustrates a basic animation technique in Flash, motion tweening. The bird (and also the sun) are animations in the Library. The bird has been moved from one side to the other and the Motion Tweening command applied to the object to cause it to move from one side to the other. In this case, the bird moves in a straight line from one point to another. |

Scientific Conversions A very basic "calculator" that converts units of mass from English to Metric. The Calculate button has an Action that handles the conversion using variables. The text boxes have been converted to text fields and variable names assigned. |
